This attractive open cluster is approx 3000 lightyears distant and contains 165 recognised stars. It was discovered in 1790 by William Herschel.
This image is the result of just over 2h of RGB data capture from Horsham, over two evenings in January 2025. A ZWO ASI2600 MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
