This open cluster is approx 4,800 lightyears distant and 50 lightyears in diameter. The brightest star is not part of the cluster, but a foreground star.
This image is the result of 1h 35m of RGB data capture, on an evening in January 2025. A ZWO ASI2600 MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
