This spiral galaxy is nearly edge-on to us and so shows limited detail.
NGC 2683 is around 30 million lightyears distant and at approximately 90,000 lightyears in size, is slightly smaller than our own galaxy. It shines at magnitude 10.6 and measures just over 9.3 x 2.2 arcminutes.
This image is the result of 4h15m of RGB data capture, over two evenings in January 2025. A ZWO ASI2600 MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
