NGC 7331 galaxy group in Pegasus

NGC 7331 is 40 million lightyears distant and a similar size to the Milky Way, at 120,000 lightyears in diameter. It shines at mag 10.4
The other four galaxies below NGC 7331 are much more distant and physically unrelated, between 294 and 365 million lightyears away.

This image is the result of 4.3h of RGB data capture, over four evenings in September and October 2024. A ZWO ASI2600 MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
