Albireo in Cygnus

The double star Albireo (Beta Cygni) is well known for its colour contrast, with the yellow A and fainter blue B. They are separated by 35 arcseconds.

This RGB image is the result of just over 15 minutes of data capture from Horsham over an evening in July 2024, as 10sec exposures. The brightness of the stars meant that even this 10 second short exposure time at gain zero, was too long. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
