NGC 2775 is a spiral galaxy with tightly wound flocculent spiral arms, showing little detail in this image. There is also a large outer dust halo. It is around 67 million lightyears distant and just over 4 arcminutes in apparent size.
Smaller galaxies NGC 2773 (top left) and NGC 2777 (bottom left) are included in the image.
This image is the result of 6h 20m of RGB data capture from Horsham, over five evenings in February 2025. A ZWO ASI2600 MM Pro camera was used, through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector.
