This unusual image of part of Messier 31 was taken through a 7nm hydrogen-alpha filter. The spiral arms are traced and knots of nebulosity can be seen. The large star cluster NGC 206 is located just above the centre of the image
This is the result of 5h40m of Ha data capture, over three evenings in November 2022. A ZWO ASI2600MM Pro camera was used through an 8-inch Teleskop-Service Ritchey-Chretien reflector, from Horsham.
