Messier 64 Black Eye galaxy in Coma

M64 is known for the prominent dust lane near the core, which gives the appearance of a black eye. In this image north is up, so the dust lane is positioned above the 'eye'.
This Seyfert galaxy is fairly isolated, 17 million lightyears away and approx 54,000 lightyears in diameter, so is similar in size to M33.

This image is the result of over 3h of data capture, over 2 evenings in March 2020.
