On the evening of 22nd February 2018, I managed to image the terminator effects of the lunar X and V formations. These are transient and only appear for a few hours.
The first widefield view shows both the X (right)and V (left) formations, the latter near crater Ukert.
The X is formed by the rising sun illuminating the walls of several craters, these are Blanchinus (above), La Caille (to the left) and Purbach (below) the X formation.
North is to the left.
ZWO ASI290MC camera through a Teleskop-Service 200mm RC reflector, using a ZWO 850nm IR pass filter.
