Derived from a video taken with a ZWO ASI174MM USB3 mono camera, through a Teleskop-Service 200mm Ritchey-Chretien, with 2x Barlow lens.
A separate Baader IR+UV cut filter was used, screwed into the 1.25 inch nosepiece of the camera – as well as through a red filter in the filter wheel.
Processed in Registax 6, Photoshop CS6 and Nik HDR Efex Pro 2.
The large crater to the right is Clavius. Crater Tycho is almost dead centre, but does not show any of the charactyeristic bright rays, because of the moon phase. These show up best at full moon.
